Vestergaard x UNGA 78: Stop The Clock launch film
In 2023, disease control textile manufacturer Vestergaard made and distributed a billion of its PermaNet bed nets, significantly impacting the spread of malaria in vulnerable communities worldwide.
I worked directly with Outlook Creative and Vestergaard to create a launch video in seven weeks for Vestergaard's Evening Reception at the seventy-eighth United Nations General Assembly. Using footage of net distribution in Uganda and Vestergaard's Vietnam facility, I created three ideas and a treatment.
A child dies from malaria every sixty seconds, so my idea was to show how Vestergaard is slowing that countdown and seeks to stop it so no one dies of this infectious disease.
Stop The Clock celebrates the collaboration between Vestergaard, local health authorities and NGOs, the nets' impact, and the innovation that goes into designing and making them. Charlize Theron narrates the voiceover and introduced the film at the UN reception.
